Pearland Winter/Spring Classes

The Bay Area Stars Diving Team, Inc. has been part of the Clear Area since 1987. Its members have come from Southeast Houston, Galveston, League City, Pearland, Friendswood, Nassau Bay, Baytown and Greater Clear Lake communities.

Location: Pearland Aquatic Facility.  Email svenschultz@comcast.net
Facilities: Two 1 meters and Two 3 meter maxiflex diving boards.  The pool depth is 13 feet. 
Coach(es):

Sven Schultz has over 26 years of public school experience, over 30 years of teaching diving, and competed nationally and internationally.

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Times:

Beginners: 5:00-5:55pm
Intermediate: 6:00-6:55pm
Objectives:

To introduce fundamental diving skills to all students.  This includes forward and backward take off, entries and dives in all positions.

Sessions:
  1. Tuesday/Thursday: June 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30
  2. Tuesday/ Thursday: July 26, 28 August 2, 4, 9, 11, 15, 18

Requirements:

Must sign a medical and liability release form AAU membership is available for $14.00
Display an excellent attitude
Perform basic swimming skills (i.e. can go down to the bottom of a 13 foot pool and come to the side.
Cost:

$85.00 for 8 fifty five minute sessions. Make up lessons only for pool closures.  Convenient payments through Paypal! No Paypal account required.
