The Bay Area Stars Diving Team, Inc. has been part of the Clear Area since 1987. Its members have come from Southeast Houston, Galveston, League City, Pearland, Friendswood, Nassau Bay, Baytown and Greater Clear Lake communities.

Team

Junior Olympic

An AAU Junior Olympic diver typically has dives from all of the five directions on two board.  They are able to complete multiple somersaults in at least three directions and have an interest on platform competition.  A JO diver is often seeking to compete in college and understands that travel outside the state may be necessary.  A JO diver will practice at least four or more times per week.

Novice

An AAU Novice diver may have a JO list on one board and a Novice list on another.  Typically a novice level diver wants to compete in a high school eleven dive list and enjoys local competition.  A novice level diver will practice at least three times per week.

Future Champions 

There are three levels of Future Champions. A F.C. can do one list on one board and another level off of another board.  A FC diver is typically in Elementary or Intermediate school.  A F.C. should dive at least three times per week; however, exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.
